PRESENTATION |
The
Brazilian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry is a non-profit
organization, founded on January 28th, 1994, with the objective
of promoting and stimulating professional improvement through
the study and development of advanced techniques in the field
of Esthetic Dentistry.

OBJECTIVE |
The
main goal of BSAD is to promote and organize events and scientific
studies and researches, stimulate scientific and cultural
interchange with similar entities as well as publish journals,
newsletter and books. We are committed to the deepest democratic
principles and we are always open to suggestions, collaborations
and debates.

HISTORY |
Since
its foundation, BSAD has implemented its commitments and
goals mainly through the publication of scientific and technical
and lectures, courses and conferences
Over the last four years, the publications of our organization
have been more frequent, besides the inception of new products.
Currently the communication with it's members are able to count
on the following scientific works and / or bulletins:

Another way to make our ideals come true is the evaluation
and certification of highly qualified professionals within
this specific scientific area through a membership process.
Through the internet, BSAD reaches a new level of communication,
establishing an extremely efficient channel of communication
with its members, opening a new phase of services. Through
BSAD on line, the institution starts offering information to
the general public through its news section, a new feedback
strategy.

HOW A MEMBER OF BSAD TO BE |
We
are very pleased to know that you are willing to become a
member of the Brazilian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry (BSAD).
Therefore, we´d like to introduce you to what it means
to be a member of our society, generally speaking.
The Brazilian Society of Esthetic Dentistry is a non-profitable
Association founded in January 28th,1994, in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, with the purpose of promoting, stimulating and improving
professional knowledge and skills, through the study and development
of advanced techniques in the field of Esthetic Dentistry.
The BSAD organizes and promotes scientific activities, conventions,
studies and researches, stimulates cultural and scientific
exchange either with other local institutions or abroad and
publishes periodics regarding Esthetic Dentistry.
Our principles are democratic and we are opened to suggestions,
collaboration and debates.
The rules that guide us follow international patterns and we
are concerned in preserving our distinguished position conquered
in the last decade before the world dental scientific community,
as much as bringing to conspicuousness those who are really
interested and dedicate themselves to the Esthetic Dentistry.
In order to classify our associated member regarding both technical,
scientific performance and involvement with our society, there
are 5 distinct categories :
1. Founder member: the one that conceived
the BSAD.
2. Associated member: the one whose application
was approved by the administrative and scientific council and
is an active participant on our events.
3. Accredited member: the one that has conquered
an outstanding scientific and technical place before the administrative
and scientific council.
4. Meritorious member: the one that has distinguished
the BSAD.
5. Honorary member: it is the dentist (either
member of our society or not ) that has had an outstanding
place in Esthetic Dentistry.
As a member of our society your rights are:
1. Receive BSAD news
2. Receive the periodical magazine “Estética
Contemporânea”
3. Be a member of BSAD committees
4. Participate in conventions and congresses
sponsored by the BSAD with differentiated fees.
5. Have access to the large number of benefits
that our society gathered through its international projection
and partnerships.
In order to get your affiliation approved, please follow
the next steps:
A. Fill out an admission application (
attached to this document ) and send it to the executive
secretary.
B. Wait for the approval and subsequent
contact from the administrative and scientific council.
C. Fill out the associated member form which
will be sent to you and return it to the executive secretary
at BSAD.
D. The admission fee is R$ 50,00 plus a
tuition of R$ 300,00 a year; check and credit card to the
executive secretary are accepted .
E. After sending your admission application
with the enclosed payment , an associate member kit will
be sent to you
We hope to have explained the purpose of the BSAD and we
are hoping to have you as a member of our society.
We will be also pleased to help you clarify any doubt you
might still have, regarding the BSAD.
